Romelu Lukaku, who is currently on loan at Roma, could be set for a shock move to Newcastle United.
The Belgian striker has been in fine form for the Serie A side, scoring nine goals in 15 appearances so far this season.
Voetbalkrant has now reported that Newcastle are now monitoring him.
The Magpies see Lukaku as an ideal addition to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season, providing competition for Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson.
However, Lukaku, who is still a Chelsea player and has also played for Manchester United, is reportedly hesitant about returning to England.
