It was a blend of industry professionals as Sharon Ooja, Bisola Aiyeola, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Ireti Doyle, and many more, graced the press conference for the tenth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.
The press conference that was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, unveiled Ik Osakioduwa as the host for the forthcoming AMVCA award ceremony. IK will be hosting Africa’s prestigious award show for the tenth time since it premiered on March 9, 2013.
The Executive Head of Content & West Africa Channels at MultiChoice Nigeria Limited, Busola Tejumola, announced at the event that the highly anticipated tenth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) will hold from Friday, May 10 – Saturday, May 11, 2024.
This year’s edition of the AMVCA is scheduled to be a 2-Day event that will consist of an opening night that celebrates culture, fashion and honours the nominees on Friday May 10, 2024, while the award night will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024.
Meanwhile, the nominees list will be released on Sunday, March 24, 2024. For this year, the award show’s categories have been streamlined from 34 categories last year to 27 categories, two categories also will be accompanied by two special recognition awards.
