On Sunday, June 18, DJ Ntombezinhle Jiyane, better known by her stage as DJ Zinhle, posted a touching Father’s Day tribute to her late “baby daddy” AKA. Kairo Forbes’ first Father’s Day without her father occurred this year.

As AKA’s daughter Kairo Forbes had to experience her first Father’s Day without her father, DJ Zinhle devoted a heartfelt tribute to him.

Rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known by his stage as AKA, was fatally murdered on 10 February outside the Wish Restaurant on Florida Road before he could arrive for the event he had been scheduled for that evening. On Sunday, June 18, it was Father’s Day, and DJ Zinhle devoted a loving tribute to her “baby daddy” AKA.

In July 2015, AKA and DJ Zinh welcomed Kairo Forbes. Kairo had her first Father’s Day without her father on this special day. The seven-year-old and her father had a special relationship. The father-daughter team was frequently spotted dancing and having a good time.

DJ Zin shared her love for Kairo and extended her mother Lynn Forbes her best wishes in an Instagram Story she made specifically for AKA.
